    Union Budget 2026 के करीब आते ही taxpayers की expectations तेज़ होती जा रही हैं। इस बार चर्चा सिर्फ tax relief तक सीमित नहीं है, बल्कि faster refunds, fewer notices और easy compliance पर भी focus है। इसकी बड़ी वजह है New Income Tax Act, जो April 2026 से लागू होने वाला है और जिसका roadmap Budget 2026 तय करेगा। पुराना Income Tax Act 1961 समय के साथ जटिल amendments और outdated provisions की वजह से भारी compliance और litigation का कारण बन गया था। नया कानून simple language, streamlined structure और digital-first processes पर आधारित होगा। Tax Year concept से सालों का confusion खत्म होगा और faceless systems को और मज़बूती मिलेगी। हालांकि experts मानते हैं कि असली राहत policy से ज़्यादा administrative decisions पर निर्भर करेगी। अब taxpayers की निगाहें पूरी तरह Budget 2026 पर टिकी हैं।
