    War Alert: US Warns Navy May Escort Tankers in Strait of Hormuz as Iran–Israel War Intensifies

    The United States has issued a fresh warning regarding the situation in the Strait of Hormuz, stating that the United States Navy could step in to protect oil tankers and commercial vessels if the security situation in the strategic waterway worsens. US officials said that American naval forces are currently not escorting tankers through the Strait of Hormuz, but the option remains open if required. The statement follows rising tensions in the region and growing concerns about disruptions to global oil supply. Meanwhile, the war has entered its 12th day, and Iran has continued its retaliatory attacks against Israel. According to reports, Iran has launched the 37th wave of missile strikes, targeting several sensitive Israeli locations. Officials claim that Iranian missiles struck four key sites linked to the United States and Israel. The skies over both Iran and Israel have reportedly been lit up by missile launches and air-defense interceptions, increasing tension among civilians. At the same time, heavy bombing by the United States and Israel continues inside Iran. Fresh visuals from Tehran show extensive destruction after recent airstrikes. Large craters have formed on roads due to powerful explosions, and several buildings have been severely damaged. Reports also indicate that at least six people were killed in recent strikes in Tehran. Panic spread across the city as ambulances rushed to evacuate the injured and transport bodies from the affected areas. Iranian authorities say that a total of around 1,230 people have been killed since the conflict escalated, highlighting the growing human cost of the war.
