    Following a recent firing incident reported outside filmmaker Rohit Shetty’s residence, actor Ranveer Singh has received a threat message, raising fresh security concerns. According to sources, the message was delivered via a WhatsApp voice note and included a demand for a large sum of money, said to run into crores. The development prompted immediate action, with the actor alerting the Mumbai Police, who have since stepped in to assess and address the situation.

    Threat Sent Via WhatsApp Voice Note

    Sources indicate that the threatening message was sent as a voice note on WhatsApp, in which the sender sought a substantial amount of money from the actor. The tone and content of the message were serious enough to raise alarm, particularly in light of the recent firing incident linked to a prominent figure from the film industry. Soon after receiving the message, Ranveer Singh is said to have informed the Mumbai Police, sharing all available details to assist the investigation.

    Security Tightened, Probe Underway

    In response to the threat, security outside Ranveer Singh’s residence has been tightened as a precautionary measure. Police officials have confirmed that additional personnel have been deployed to ensure the actor’s safety. At the same time, investigators have launched a probe to trace the origin of the WhatsApp voice note and identify the individual responsible for sending it.

    Authorities have assured that all necessary steps are being taken to safeguard the actor and his family. Efforts are ongoing to track down the sender, with officials emphasising that the matter is being treated with seriousness given the nature of the threat and the recent security-related incidents involving high-profile individuals.
