    Maharashtra's Home Department has revamped key security committees for VIPs. The High-Level Committee, now led by the State Intelligence Department's Commissioner and Additional Director General, will assess threats. A restructured Review Committee, chaired by the Chief Secretary, will make final classification decisions. This aims to bolster security evaluations for high-risk individuals across the state.
