The RJD has launched a sharp attack on the Nitish Kumar–BJP government, alleging corruption and commission-based practices behind the project. RJD leaders claimed that the ropeway project has fallen victim to “commission corruption” and said that hundreds of innocent lives were saved by sheer luck. The incident has sparked political controversy in Bihar, with the opposition demanding accountability and a thorough investigation into the collapse and project execution.
