A major road accident was reported from Mathura district of Uttar Pradesh after multiple vehicles caught fire on the Yamuna Expressway. The incident occurred late night to early Tuesday morning when several buses and cars traveling from Agra towards Noida collided amid poor visibility. According to preliminary information, low visibility conditions on the expressway led to a chain collision, after which fire broke out in multiple vehicles. Sources on the ground suggest that at least four buses and several cars were involved in the incident. Flames quickly spread, causing panic among passengers and resulting in severe traffic disruption. One side of the Yamuna Expressway was completely blocked following the accident, leading to long traffic jams in the area. Police and emergency services rushed to the spot soon after receiving information. Fire tenders were deployed to control the blaze, and rescue operations were initiated immediately. Reports indicate that some people may have been injured or killed in the incident; however, official confirmation regarding casualties is still awaited. Authorities are currently assessing the situation, and further details are expected as rescue and investigation efforts continue.
