    Sanjay Leela Bhansali Hospitalisation Reports False, Says Team; Director Underwent Routine Check-Up

    Bollywood director Sanjay Leela Bhansali celebrated his 63rd birthday on February 24. There were reports that he had been admitted to Kokilaben Hospital in Mumbai due to health issues. However, his team has dismissed these reports as mere rumours. According to Bhansali’s team, he had only gone to the hospital for a routine check-up and that the filmmaker is completely fine. Now, his family has also issued a statement. 

    Family Issues Statement

    “Sanjay Leela Bhansali is doing absolutely fine. He has gone in for a routine medical check-up, and there is no cause for concern,” said the filmmaker’s family in a statement. 

    It added, “We sincerely appreciate the love, care, and concern shown by everyone. Thank you for your continued support and warm wishes.”

    Statement From Bhansali’s Team

    “The reports claiming that Sanjay Leela Bhansali has been hospitalised are completely false and baseless. There is no truth to these claims. He only went for a routine health check-up.”

    Talking about work, Sanjay is currently busy with his upcoming film Love & War, starring Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, and Vicky Kaushal in lead roles.

    How Did Bhansali Celebrate His Birthday?

    On his birthday, Sanjay Leela Bhansali preferred to stay on set and remained fully immersed in the work of his upcoming film Love & War.

    Speaking about his birthday, he said, “Work is what defines me. When I don’t have work, I don’t feel any value in myself. As an artist, I have now become more fearless than before and am ready to take risks. Today, I work harder than I did 5 or 10 years ago. I work nearly 20 hours a day, and I enjoy it.”

    Born in a 300-square-foot chawl in Mumbai, Sanjay Leela Bhansali had humble beginnings, but through hard work, he became one of India’s most renowned filmmakers. Today, his net worth is Rs 940 crore.
