    MoD inks Rs 2,182 crore deal with Russia for ship missiles

    India's defence ministry has boosted naval and coast guard capabilities with two major deals worth over Rs 5,000 crore. The Indian Coast Guard will receive six advanced maritime helicopters from HAL, enhancing its security roles. Meanwhile, the Indian Navy is acquiring advanced Shtil surface-to-air missiles from Russia to bolster warship defence against aerial threats.
