    Indian football: ISL clubs ask for relegation to be paused for 3-5 years; request stability

    Indian Super League (ISL) clubs have written to the Joint Secretary of the Sports Ministry and requested that relegation be scrapped for three to five seasons, considering the difficult circumstances prevailing in India's top division. The clubs have asked that the upcoming season be considered a "virtual force majeure."
