Google Play Store Starts Warning Users About Android Apps That Cause Excessive Battery Drain

The Google Play Store will now display warning labels on apps that cause excessive battery drain. The apps which repeatedly cross the "Excessive Partial Wake Lock" threshold will be excluded from Play Store recommendations. Affected apps misuse Android’s partial wake lock mechanism and keep the CPU running in the background.
