    Apple Said to Wind Down Virtual AI Health Coach Project Amidst Increasing Competition

    Apple is reportedly scaling back plans to launch its AI-powered virtual health coach feature, as it winds down Project Mulberry. This comes as the company is facing increasing competition from other health-tech companies, including OpenAI with its ChatGPT Health, Oura, and Whoop. The division recently underwent a management change, too. Additonally, Tim Cook, the Chief Executive Officer of Apple, has hinted that the company could launch new AI-based product categories and services.
