    Android 17 Beta 2 Released: Lets Users Create Bubble for Any App, Expands SMS OTP Protection

    Android 17 Beta 2 update is now rolling out to select Pixel devices, the Mountain View-based tech giant announced on Thursday. The new beta version introduces the ability for users to open any app as a bubble window. The new functionality allows users to open multiple app pages on a single screen for improved multitasking. Additionally, Google has expanded the SMS OTP protection feature with the Android 17 Beta 2 update to all messages with OTPs. This means that apps that do not have permission to read messages will be able to access WebOTP format SMS after a delay of three hours.
