    Meta’s Phoenix Mixed Reality Smart Glasses Reportedly Delayed; Could Finally Launch in 2027

    Meta has reportedly postponed the launch of its Phoenix mixed-reality glasses to 2027, pushing it back from the originally planned second half of 2026. The delay was reportedly confirmed by Maher Saba, VP of Reality Labs Foundation, in an internal memo. Meta is also reportedly working on a 'limited edition' wearable device, codenamed Malibu 2, to launch in 2026. The company has also started early development of its next-generation Quest headset.
